Thanks So Much for Vaping!

there is always something to be thankful for
_
Thanksgiving celebrations are nearly finished after this weekend passes. However, that doesn't mean people should stop being grateful for the special gifts and miracles that came into their lives. For millions of people around the world that gift is vaping, which allows them to consume nicotine without exposing themselves and others to thousands of cancer-causing compounds. Many of them eventually ended their smoking addiction through the help of e-cigarettes and zero-nicotine liquids.

Because of these positive results from vaping, here are some more expressions of gratitude that I'd like to share with other vapers.
Former Smoker Turned Marathoner

Jerry Iozzo runs 30-40 miles a week and according to him, he owes it all to vaping. Iozzo was a smoker for 23 years and says that could not run over three miles without a hacking cough. After switching to vaping he now runs full 26.2 mile marathons. He sports a shirt that reads NOTBlowingSmoke.org as a show of support for vapers and those trying to quit smoking. "I wanted to run a full marathon because of all the years cigarettes held me back. This was a way to celebrate being healthy finally," says Jerry.

Jerry has run countless 5k and 10k races, 2 half marathons and 2 full marathons.  When asked how he felt after his most recent finish, he said, "Physically my legs hurt, but felt great otherwise... I truly owe my health to vaping... It pains me to see smokers who think vaping is just as bad as cigarettes."
The author of the article also asked Jerry what he thought about anti-vaping campaigns.
He said, "They are VERY deceitful and I hate the way they use children to sway opinions. They take 1% of the truth and make it the whole truth. It's frustrating. The proof is in the pudding. My running will outweigh any flawed lab rat study that says e-cigs will disease the lungs. I am proof that not only can e-cigs reduce harm, but can also reverse harm (caused by smoking.)
The Vape-A-Vet Project

This project was established to help both active duty and prior service members of the military ‘conquer’ their tobacco habits by providing a healthier alternative at no cost to them. Here are a couple of testimonials from people who greatly benefited from this humanitarian endeavor.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg FINALLY Quits Smoking Thanks to Vaping

Clegg-starts-vaping-quits-smoking

Perhaps, the most welcomed expression of thanks to vaping came from the Deputy Prime Minister himself.
It is unusual to find such an upbeat outlook in someone trying to quit smoking, but he insists - not for the first time - that he might just have managed to kick the habit.

In 2011 Mr. Clegg revealed he had gone 'cold turkey' to give up smoking, but it did not work.

Two years later he declared he was 'off the ciggies', but admitted it might not last. It didn't.

But now there may have been a breakthrough. "It has taken a significant step in the right direction," he declared.

"At the moment, at least for the last several weeks, I am off the fags and on the vapes. I've got some hilariously termed multi-voltage thing.

"I haven’t smoked a cigarette in weeks. I'm not 100 per cent sure what the effect on my health is of these new battery powered things," he laughs.

"You can put all different flavours in it. I have tried the blueberry, it's good. I recommend the blueberry vape. That's quite different to the Marlboro Lights."
Hope these personal stories of gratitude towards vaping have shown you that it’s possible to quit smoking as long as you made the effort to do so with the help of e-cigarettes and flavored nicotine-containing liquids.
