Listen to Binaural Beats to Cope With Nicotine Withdrawal

Vaping is oft-repeatedly hailed as a far less harmful alternative to smoking because much of the carcinogenic compounds found in tobacco smoke have been eliminated. However, it's simply the beginning of a smoker's journey towards completely abandoning a nasty smoking habit.

What are Binaural Beats?

If you're serious about quitting, then consider listening to binaural beats. AlcoholRehab.com explains:

Binaural beats are a type of brain entertainment that is believed to produce certain physical, mental and spiritual benefits for those using this audio technology. The word binaural means 'having or relating to two ears'.

The technology works by sending different tones to each ear. The brain then manages to merge these two different tones into a new tone that the brain would not be able to pick up by just interacting normally with the environment.

The real purpose of this technology then is to create this new tone because it is this that will be able to change the brainwave patterns and produce the desired effects associated with binaural beats.

Many recordings of binaural beats are available for free on YouTube. Here is an example of binaural beats that can provide relief from nicotine withdrawal symptoms: Nicotine Withdrawal Relief - Binaural Beats

How Do Binaural Beats Work?

Different combinations of sounds can produce different kinds of brainwave patterns. That's why binaural beats are considered digital drugs that can alter consciousness and behavior permanently.

Our brains operate at different frequencies during various activities. Using binaural beats at fluctuating frequencies can thus guide the brain to operate at optimal frequencies for say studying or relaxation. Heinrich Wilhelm Dove discovered in 1839 that two distinct beats played in opposing ears at varying frequencies prompts the brain to recognize a third beat.

Thus, listening to binaural beats can reduce stress, relieve body aches and pain, elevate one's mood, and enhance the release of serotonin in the brain. Many people have used these beats in combination with hypnotherapy to help them control their nicotine cravings and cope with other symptoms of withdrawal.

Listening to Binaural Beats and Vaping Low-Nicotine Liquids

While listening to binaural beats designed to release tension and distract you from using cigarettes, try vaping with low-nicotine e-juice to force you to consume a limited amount of nicotine each day.

A University of Pittsburgh study on low-nicotine cigarettes have shown that smokers are more likely to quit when they cut down their nicotine consumption to more than ninety percent:
In their study, published in The New England Journal of Medicine, Eric Donny and his colleagues found that an 85% to 97% reduction in nicotine produced a 23% reduction in the number of cigarettes smoked.

And participants who spent six weeks smoking the cigarettes with the lowest nicotine content were twice as likely to report trying to quit smoking within 30 days after the end of the study.

Quitting may be difficult, but it's not impossible. You can quit smoking when you take advantage of the tools available to you. Two of those tools are binaural beats and low-nicotine e-liquids.
